Our considerable hands on experience in the past has enabled us to build a reputation for the quality of our work for the future. 1st Tiny Steps Pre-School

We are a multi cultural pre-school that offers high quality childcare services, we pride ourselves on treating every child as an individual to help them progress, grow and learn.

Our curriculum offers a fun varied learning experience with opportunity for all.

Fully qualified staff with expert knowledge of child growth and development supporting every child to become independent, secure and happy.

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free funding per week.

We are a small individual sessional pre-school that offers services not only to the child that attends but to the whole family. We support every child whatever their individual needs as well as offering help or supportive services to the family.

We work closely across multi agencies to offer a holistic approach. We actively encourage parental involvement within the pre-school and value parent’s views and input. All staff are fully qualified in current childcare practices.

All staff at 1st Tiny Steps have upskilled over the past two years with 3 of the 5 staff now holding a Foundation Degree in Early Years and are progressing towards gaining their BA Hons with Early Years Professional Status over the next year.

The pre-school is proud of it's staff's achievements and their ability to deliver a holistic , peodiological approach for all the children and families attending the setting.

We have recently embarked our 5th staff member on training to become the settings EYLP (Early Years Language Professional) enabling the setting to have a member of staff who can develop, A****. and deliver a comprehensive language programme to ensure all children's language and communication development is on target plus offer targeted support if issues arise.

Staff of course also hold certificates in First Aid, Child Protection, Special Educational Needs, to name just a few. We believe in working in partnership with parents we welcome parental input and help in any form. We encourage parents to get involved in their child's learning and recognise that parents are "the child's first educators" we know parents know their child best and take our lead from parents.
